Marc Marins is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with over 25 tournament victories on his resume. He began training in 1996 and made the trip to Brazil the next year to train with the best Jiu-Jitsu fighters and coaches in the world. He has since returned to Brazil three times, and has competed in the world championships, the Pan Ams and the U.S. Open.
Marc is also a black belt in judo, and continues to compete in local, regional and international tournaments in both martial arts. Marc’s recent wins include a bronze medal at the 2009 American Nationals and a gold medal at the 2009 U.S. Open.
Jeff Meszaros has been studying martial arts for over 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club. He holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, black belts in Hapkido and Taekwondo and a brown belt in Judo. In 2008, he won a silver medal at the Pan American jiu-jitsu championships, and a gold medal at the American nationals.
While training and competing in Brazil, Jeff won a bronze medal at the 2009 Brazilian National Championships, as well as a gold medal at the 2009 World Cup of Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
